Network marketing lead generation through influencer outreach

Network Marketing Lead GenerationIn this article we’re going to talk about influencer outreach, which is an important strategy for network marketing lead generation and can help to attract more business your way. Influencer outreach is much more than a marketing tool, it’s a technique used in social media to reach out to those who are interested in what you have to offer, who they can influence and who they could potentially direct towards your business.

Creating relationships with influencers is a key component to making contact with their audience, and this takes time, as you want to be deemed a worthy cause and someone they can trust and recommend to others. This article will give you some strategies to help you build your reputation and form lasting relationships with true influencers.

1. Find the right influencers

It’s vital to find individuals that are genuinely interested in what you have to offer. Anyone who connects with these individuals is interested in the content they share, so doing some research to find those who already promote developments in your field of expertise is paramount.

2. Make contact

Once you’ve identified those you wish to connect with, it’s time to make contact. You could start by commenting on posts they make so you become a familiar contributor and remember to keep your messages positive and friendly. Once you have established a presence, then you can send them a personal message to introduce yourself and explain why you are contacting them. Decide how best you can make contact; will you send a message through Facebook or another social media site or will you send an email?

3. Honesty is the best policy

Be honest and up front about why you want to work with your influencer. Explain your goals and be open about how your relationship can be mutually beneficial.

4. Give them something to share

The whole point of building a relationship with an influencer is to encourage them to share and recommend your content with others. You need to produce top notch content, something of interest and purpose, if you want their seal of approval.

5. Look beyond those in demand

Many influencers are in high demand and may not respond to your attempts to build the relationship. You may have to resort to extravagant means to get these influencers to take any notice but there may be other influencers who have built up great relationships with their followers and have an excellent understanding of your industry but who are not so high profile. These are the influencers to target, as they will still reach a lot of people, and have a lot of clout, but are more likely to be open to your approach and ideas.

6. Think of the future

Once you have built your relationship with your influencers and persuaded them to recommend you to others your strategy is far from over. It’s vital that you maintain your relationship and continue to work on the foundation you have created to enable future growth.

The points above are steps you can take to start building bridges and forming lasting relationships with influencers who will become advocates of you and what your business has to offer. This strategy can be a major marketing tactic to expand awareness of your business and reach out to potential customers and definitely worth your time and investment.
